Founder of The Second Bloom

To uplift underprivileged women by weaving strength and stitching futures. We aim to empower them with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to stand on their own feet.

I’m a student at Aga Khan Academy with a strong passion for business and economics, and a deep commitment to creating meaningful social impact.

I launched this initiative in 2024 with the goal of helping women in rural communities through skill development, financial support, and employment opportunities. With support from my father and peers, I organised fundraising efforts by setting up textile stalls.

The proceeds were directed towards supporting underprivileged women in my city— whether by providing them with daily essentials or helping them find suitable job opportunities. The Second Bloom is my way of combining purpose with action—creating change, one step at a time.

Our Impact

Building Futures Through Fabric and Hope

This project came to life on April 17, 2024, with just an idea and no clear path. Encouraged by my father and peers, I arranged a meeting with local women on October 24, 2024. That conversation gave me valuable insight into their needs and struggles, helping shape the direction of my initiative.

To take the first step, I used old stock from my father’s textile business to set up a stall at a local trade fair. The funds raised were enough to support a few women and let them know they were seen, heard, and valued.

As the project grew, I connected with more women who had both skills and potential. I helped them find work and earn an income. What began as a simple idea has now become something tangible—a small but growing Fabric of Change.

You can't change the world for everyone,
but you can change someone's world.
